Nottingham Forest have scored fewer Premier League goals than Erling Haaland so far this season.
It’s been a difficult season so far for Forest on their return to the top flight, with Steve Cooper ’s side picking up just one point in their last five league games.
Currently sat 18th in the table, with 27 points in 30 games, goals have been an issue for the club all season. Their tally stands at just 24 for the season across 30 matches, a rate of well below one per game.
And one particularly damning statistic is the fact that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has single-handedly outscored them in the league this campaign.

Since arriving from Borussia Dortmund last summer for around £50M, Haaland has been in scintillating form for Pep Guardiola’s City side.
The Norwegian sensation has already netted an astounding 30 league goals this campaign, and there are still eight games to go.
Incredibly, that puts him just four behind the all-time record for goals in one Premier League season, held jointly by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole, who both scored 34 times in one season.
What’s even more impressive is both hit the record back when the league season was 42 games, as opposed to 38 in the current format.
For a 38-game season, the record stands at 32, set by Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in 2018, which Haalands looks certain to break.
But what is perhaps most impressive is that the 22-year-old is actually outscoring almost half the clubs in the league.
A whopping eight different Premier League clubs have so far scored fewer goals than Erling Haaland alone, despite Haaland having missed several games.
Chelsea are enduring a dreadful season, with the Blues sat 11th in the table, having scored just 29 times in 30 matches, leading to them recently parting company with former boss Graham Potter.
Similarly, Crystal Palace sacked Patrick Viera, and have seen an upturn in form since reappointing Roy Hodgson as manager.
But that’s still not enough to see them overtake Haaland, with the Eagles also on 29 goals from 30 games.
Bournemouth have scored 28 in 30, while West Ham are on 27 in 29.
Southampton are bottom of the league with just 24 goals in 30 games, a tally matched by Wolves and Nottingham Forest.
Everton are the lowest scoring side in the league, with Sean Dyche’s men netting just 23 goals from their 30 league fixtures, seven less than Haaland.
