At Mary D's, the favoured haunt of City fans just opposite the Etihad Stadium, there was pandemonium. Fans climbed on tables, threw drinks across the bar and generally went for it. At Mayfield Depot, ticker tape was let off as City fans looked on in a mixture of disbelief and elation.
While at Love Factory on Dantzic Street, inflatables were launched across the huge crowd, pints were thrown and a sense of relief broke out after a nervy 90 minutes.
Their parties will surely last long into the night.
