Celebrations were in full swing this weekend as the Red Wall headed to Dubai before Cymru's first match of the World Cup. And a wonderful video posted on social media shows hundreds of Welsh fans singing Dafydd Iwan's Yma o Hyd, which has become a fan favourite over recent months, at a pub in Dubai on Sunday evening.
The Red Dragons will kick-start their campaign against the USA at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Qatar on Monday evening, with kick-off expected to take place at 7pm. This is the first time Cymru has competed in the World Cup in 64 years.
Manager Rob Page believes England and the USA are the favourites to progress from Wales' World Cup group B. Bookmakers have Gregg Berhalter's side as the slight favourites to emerge victorious.

However, Wales fans remain determined to enjoy the occasion whatever is to come, and an eight hour party is being held at the four and a half star InterContinental Doha - The City hotel. The biggest party in Welsh football history has been organised by Wales football supporters' charity Gol Cymru, with help from Welsh TV broadcaster Rhodri Williams, who lives and works in Qatar. Meanwhile, Wales have been locked in talks with FIFA and other football associations amid concerns that Gareth Bale could be booked at kick-off of his side’s World Cup opener against the USA for wearing the One Love armband. FIFA had urged competing nations not to make political statements during the tournament - with competition rules stating teams could be punished for doing so. Reluctantly, Wales have since said they won't wear the armband.
