The Los Angeles Dodgers are starting to streak toward a potential World Series run. They have won seven of their last eight games and sit fairly comfortably in first place in the National League West.

The organization has shown plenty of support for the Los Angeles Lakers in recent years. It will pay special tribute to the late Kobe Bryant on Sept. 1, and before that, it will give away LeBron James bobbleheads when it hosts the Miami Marlins on Saturday, Aug. 19.

The Dodgers are hoping to win their second world championship in the last four seasons. They, along with the Lakers, won it all in October 2020.
