It is with great sadness that the family of Edward John Herbert Edwards announces his passing on January 22nd, 2022, at the age of 92. John died peacefully at Singleton Hospital and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila, and the families of his two sons, Matthew, and Paul. John was a much admired artist and teacher in the medium of Architectural Glass at the Swansea College of Art. He also painted beautiful watercolours of local landscapes. He was a loving and devoted husband and father, who enjoyed walks on Gower and sharing his rich and abundant knowledge of its wildlife, flora and archaeology. He will be dearly missed by us all. (Don Chips) Peacefully passed away on 20th January 2022 at Ty Victoria, Waunarlwydd, Don beloved husband of Rita, loving father of Carol, Kevin and the late Susan, dear father in law to Eleanor and John, much loved Gramps of all his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and brother of Roy. Funeral service at Swansea Crematorium on Wednesday 9th February at 3.30pm.
