It's not quite a heatwave but Met Eireann has predicted two days of glorious weather for Ireland with clear skies and highest temperatures of 20C.
In their forecast, Met Éireann says it will be "mainly dry today [Friday] with sunny spells becoming more widespread through the morning. A few showers will develop in the late afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees in light northerly breezes."
Saturday will see fog clearing early to give "a largely dry day with spells of sunshine" with highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees.

The warm weather blast will be short-lived with rain returning on Sunday but it still gives us the first two days of proper summer weather to enjoy.
It looks as though Limerick will be the hottest county in Ireland over the weekend with highs of 21C on Friday and Saturday. It's a similar picture elsewhere with Waterford tipping the 20C mark on Friday and 18C on Saturday.
According to Met Éireann, most counties will see temperatures in the high teens but the east coast will see lower values than the west and south of the country.
The Midlands will also see stunning warm weather with highs of 18 or even 19 degrees in most counties there over the two days.

It's not all good news as it is expected to become cooler than average next week, with temperatures in the mid to low teens, before it heats up again next weekend.
Long-range weather models, which are subject to change this far out, show temperatures reaching the mid-20s next weekend, thanks to a plume of hot air from the Mediterranean.
Maps appear to show temperatures hitting the mid-20s - and potentially up to 25C - during the weekend of May 19-21.
The long-range forecast for the following week, May 19 to 25, continues: “Uncertainty grows in the forecast and there is a less clear signal for any pressure pattern to become dominant for the week. However, there is a slight signal for low pressure to the southwest of the country. Nevertheless, temperatures will likely be slightly higher than average for late May, with rainfall amounts signalled to be lower than average.”
