Who are the winners of Dream Home Australia 2024?

Who won Dream Home Australia for 2024? The winners are… Rhys and Liam! It was a heart-warming final episode, with tiler Rhys walking away with $100k towards his mortgage – a sweet compensation after taking time away from his newborn son, toddler and partner to be on the show. Of course, his brother Liam scored the renovated home. Coming second by a whisker (just half a point) were Lara and Peter, with Taeler and Elle in third place.

It’s been an incredible first season of Channel Seven’s renovating show Dream Home, with six teams designing their hearts out in hopes of walking away with not only their dream home, but also $100k towards their mortgage.

The top three teams after the final renovating scores were Lara and Peter (who won $10k in cash), Rhys and Liam, and Taeler and Elle. These teams were tasked with landscaping their own homes. With the scores reset to zero, it was anyone’s game. In a final twist at the end, not only did the judges give their scores but also the other three teams, who visited all the backyards.

All the Dream Home 2024 renovations have now been revealed and they’ve blown our socks off with the high standard that’s been delivered. See all of the completed homes below and click through for the full tours and opinions from judges Lana Taylor, Rosie Morley and Simon Cohen…

Northcote, Vic

Former boy bander Brad, his wife Mel and their four teenage children got a second storey to their home, giving them a parents’ retreat and plenty more much-needed space.

All six teams will have their homes renovated (so everyone’s a winner!). Each week, two homes are worked on by the other teams (three pairs on each). It takes a couple of weeks to complete each house until all of the teams have their whole house renovated.

The scores decide the top three teams at the end of the home renovations. These three teams renovate their own backyards, determining the final scores. The final winning team not only gets their ‘dream home’ but also $100,000 off their mortgage.
