The future of Cristiano Ronaldo is now one of the most discussed football topics of the summer after reports suggested he could leave Manchester United.
The Times report that Ronaldo has asked to be allowed to leave Old Trafford should the club receive a satisfactory offer. Ronaldo is said to have made the decision as he wishes to play Champions League football for the remainder of his career.
United's failure to qualify for Champions League last season under Ralf Rangnick has fuelled rumours that the 37-year-old could leave the club after only one season back in M16. German giants Bayern Munich had been linked with a move earlier in the window, though the Bundesliga club quickly ruled themselves out.

Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, discussed the possibility of a move to Chelsea last month with the Blues' new owner Todd Boehly, but the player himself has rarely discussed his future over the past year.
The former Real Madrid forward enjoyed a thrilling return to Manchester last season after signing from Juventus. He scored 24 goals in all competitions, including six in six Champions League games.
New United boss Erik ten Hag told Dutch outlet De Telegraaf that he is keen to keep hold of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner. He said: "Ronaldo is a giant, because of what he's already shown and I think he's still very ambitious.
"Of course I would like to keep him. He's been very important to Manchester United this year and can produce great statistics."
