A new round of research has revealed that classic baby names are making a comeback. Parents are choosing names that many might consider vintage at first thought.
According to data from Lottie.org, several classic names may be returning to the limelight. It carried out work with Forebears.io and has now revealed 20 different baby names, male and female, that are being boosted in popularity once again.
They include the top five male and female names that new parents are choosing, reports the Liverpool Echo. Top of the list and 59th worldwide is the female name ‘Patricia’, with 5,611,684 having the name. In second place is ‘Anita’, which is 61st in the world with 5,478,714 people. This is followed by the male name Samuel, Rita, and Martha.

The top vintage male name was Samuel, which ranked 69th in the world, and the most popular female name was Patricia, ranking 59th. Lottie.org used online sources Nameberry, Mother & Baby, Fatherly and Parade to create the list.
