With the price of a pint in some parts of Northern Ireland now reaching above £6, many could be forgiven for staying in the house and not heading to the local boozer at the weekend.
While we are more fortunate in the west that the average price of a night out does tend to be a little lower than the likes of Belfast, it’s still creeping up at a time when the cost of living crisis continues to bite.
In Co Fermanagh , from our research the average price across much of the county is currently £4 with many pubs in different towns and villages keeping at the same price point as others.

However, after surveying a wide variety of establishments throughout the county this week we’ve found a few that still remain under that £4 mark.
However with rising cost pressures on businesses many owners said they may not be able to sustain those prices for long.
For fairness, we didn’t include special offers and we just asked about standard lager prices as opposed to any speciality or craft beers.
So here are the five cheapest pints we found in Co Fermanagh:
The Cosy Bar, Derrygonnelly £3.50
Eugene’s Bar, Maguiresbridge £3.60
Carron's Corner Bar, Ederney £3.70
The Linnet Inn, Boho £3.70
Maguires, Belcoo £3.90
All of the other pubs we spoke to in Co Fermanagh were £4 or above and our guess is that list of the sub £4 pints will get even smaller in the months to come.
