The Chase viewers gobsmacked as contender looks exactly like EastEnders legend

The Chase fans were left drawling "Oh I say" as a Dot Cotton lookalike appeared on the ITV show.

Eagle eyed viewers flocked to Twitter to point out the rather uncanny resemblance of contender Fiona to EastEnders character Dot Cotton, played by June Brown, on the game show.

Fiona was up on the show with fellow contestants Richard, Shaun and Libby on Thursday (February 10).

According to the Birmingham Mail the 65-year-old introduced herself as a creative consultant and said she did everything from social media to helping set up websites - a stark difference to running Walford's launderette.

But tweets flooded in suggesting Fiona looked like a young Dot Cotton - and all she needed was June Brown's trademark smock and cigarette and she could be the real deal.
