The Chase's Paul Sinha makes brutal comment towards contestant in tense round

The Chase 's Sinnerman took a savage swipe at a contestant over his hobbies during a head-to-head race on the ITV show.

During Friday's episode, Chaser Paul Sinha dished out some brutal fighting talk ahead of battling it out to answer questions.

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers who were looking to put their general knowledge to the test.

Contestants Rob, Carol, Eleanor and David all took on the Sinnerman as they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

Yet one contestant had to deal with Paul's cheeky comments before the pro quizzer took him on in the head to head round.

As Rob stepped up to the plate, he raked in an impressive £8,000 in his speedy cash-builder round.

Bradley asked the crown prosecutor what he gets up to in his free time.

He revealed some of his favourite hobbies include hiking and running with his wife as well as collecting Star Wars themed Legos.

After struggling to beat Rob's other three teammates, Paul made sure to put his game face on before their tense head-to-head round.

He joked: "I knew you were something different when you said you have a collection of Lego Star Wars and you're married. That's almost unheard of."

Legal advisor Rob was able to brush off the scathing remark when he rejected Paul's low offer of £5,000.

He confessed: "Well I was told if I took the low offer I wouldn't have a wife anymore so I'd be back to the normal Star Wars Lego collector status."

Brad cheekily replied with: "Well done, Kita" as Rob settled on his decision to battle it out to add £8,000 to the prize pot.

He showed off him impressive knowledge and secured the money to add to the prize pot.

But in the end, it wasn't enough to beat Paul in the final round.

The Sinnerman caught the team and stole their joint sum of £25,000.
