The Chase's Bradley Walsh takes aim at Mark Labbett as he shares 'hidden show rule'

Bradley Walsh took aim at Mark Labbett as he shared a "show rule" on The Chase.

The 62-year-old presenter welcomed four new quizzers on Wednesday's edition of the ITV game show. Julie, Cameron, Sue and Darran were testing their wits against The Beast in a bid to win thousands.

Julie started off in amazing form as she banked £10,000 in an impressive cash-builder. Mark was in confident form and laid claim to identify a pattern in the Chase as he said: "The best Chaser gets the best teams. Let's get on with this."

The PHD student resisted the urge to go for the higher offer of £60,000 and proceeded to navigate past The Chaser. Cameron was next up and showed similarly impressive quizzing skills as he earned £9,000 in the cash-builder.

Bradley was amazed as he said: "What sort of team is this? I can't remember the last time that happened." Bradley then took aim for the Chaser as he pointed to how much the team had built up as he said: "I'm gonna wind him up."

The Beast fought back and proceeded to eliminate the player. However, the team continued their strong form as the remaining players progressed to join Julie in the last round.

Darran took to the higher offer of £74,000 so they were competing for a whopping £90,000. The team built up 16 steps but left empty-handed as they were caught with nine seconds remaining.
