The Chase's Bradley Walsh scolds player he is in wrong job

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was unimpressed with a player who made a rounded guess regarding his career.

Bradley welcomed another round of hopefuls ready to take on The Chaser. Their opponent today was Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan who pushed today's contestants to their limits but in the end, admitted she was impressed by their trivia knowledge.

Kicking things off was Pete who works as a civil servant for the Office for National Statistics. The unusual role perked up Bradley's ears as he quizzed the 50-year-old on the most interesting fact he's come across.

Pete said: "It would have to be the census. It's the biggest one we do." Bradley further prodded the player by testing his knowledge before the official cash builder round had even begun.

He asked how many people there are currently living in the UK. Pete said: "About 67.5m or so." The lack of a solid confirmation didn't go down well with Bradley who was unimpressed that Pete couldn't give him an exact figure.

Scolding him, Bradley added: "I don't think that's a statistic that's a guess. '67.5m or so'... I think you're in the wrong job, you should've been a bookie."

Pete wasn't able to hand Bradley the figures he wanted but he proved his knowledge against The Chaser and managed to make it back to his team. In the end, Jenny was no match for her opponents and they each walked away with a share of £18,000.
