The Chase's Anne Hegerty has been speaking about her time on the ITV show - and working with 'legendary' host Bradley Walsh. Known as The Governess on the popular quiz show, she has proved a staple figure on the show she joined in 2010, the Mirror Reports.
She says her favourite thing about the show has been working alongside Jack of all trades star Bradley. Speaking with The Express, she said: “Oh I have too many favourite things. Possibly working with Brad.
“He is just this legendary presenter, and he is just such a nice guy, all the Chasers have such a nice rapport with him.”

She added: "But also the fact that it is a job that I can do. It is sort of tailor-made for me and I can earn a decent living just by doing a few hours of work every day, which is brilliant.
“So it suits me down to a tee. I always say, any time that I am filming for The Chase, the actual filming for the chase is the easy part of my day and everything else is more difficult so yeah, I absolutely love it.”
Co-star Darragh Ennis, who joined the show in 2020 also had high praises for the presenting star, as he said: "Oh it is so much fun! You know when you were in school and there was the kid that your mother told you not to sit beside, that was Brad, as a grown-up, he is like a giant child.
"He is just so much fun, I know there are some people on TV who have the character they adopt, but that is not him at all. He is that person and he is just having a laugh and it is so much easier to work with someone like that, I love having a laugh and making fun of each other."
Since her rise to popularity with members of the public, Anne has gone on to take part in shows such as I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, DNA Journey and Cooking with the Stars.
She recently admitted that she would love to follow in the footsteps of Bradley, who starred in Coronation Street and The Larkins, and show off her acting skills.
