The Chase fans fume as player misses obvious answer

ITV quizzing fans have slammed a contestant who failed to answer "really easy" questions on The Chase.

The quiz show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, gives contestants a chance to win a cash prize. This evening's show saw Eddie, Hanna, Jacque and Steve work together as they took on the Chaser - 'The Governess' Anne Hegerty.

As the contestants took their turns, first up was Eddie who brought back an incredible £8,000. However, Hanna was second up when she began her quick fire questions.

But despite the high pressure, The Chase fans took to social media to express their frustration after several "easy" questions were passed. One person wrote on Twitter: "She passed on some really easy ones."

When asked for the name of a football striker nicknamed Harrycane, Hannah passed to the next question. One fan said: "How could she not get Harry Kane!!"

A second wrote: "Come on! The Harrycane? Harry, Kane?" as a thurd, sharing a confused gif, added: "The Harrycane is the nickname of which striker? Pass."

With a slightly rocky start, Hanna got through to the multiple choice questions with £5,000 where she battled the Chaser before making it back to the bench with her winnings. One fan said on Twitter: "Well played Hanna, five grand" as another wrote: "Nice one Hanna."

When asked what her plans were if they won, Hanna said she was "obsessed" with cats and would open a cat café. She told host Brad that people could "come in for cuddles and drinks".

But fans were surprised with her answer as one fan asked what was a cat café, adding: "What a weird concept." Another added she was "one crazy cat woman".
