The Chase fans were left cringing over cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins' appearance on the show's Christmas special.
The Olympian, 42, was on the festive edition of the quiz programme alongside TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya , actress Vicki Michelle and Paralympian Kadeena Cox.
Bradley didn't do badly with the general knowledge questions, but made a massive gaffe when he revealed he didn't know who any of the Chasers were.
As host Bradley Walsh asked him which of the brain boxes he would like to play against, the cyclist squirmed: "I don't know their names. I know the guy with the cowboy thing."
Supposedly referring to Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis, Bradley asked: "Darragh?," to which the four-time gold medal winner replied: "Yeah, he looks pretty cool."
However, as it became clear the cyclist didn't know any of the Chasers, the host said: "You actually haven't watched this show, have you?"
The sportsman admitted: "No, I haven't."
As well as not knowing who The Chase's stars were, Bradley also made a boo-boo when he asked the host if he was still in Coronation Street.
The comedian left the soap in 2006, causing Bradley Walsh to become slightly irate.
Fans took to Twitter commenting on the awkward exchange with one saying: "Bradley Wiggins looks so annoyed on The Chase."
While another said: "Sir Bradley Wiggins looks bored out of his mind on The Chase."
As well as his gaffes on the show, the Olympian also accused host Bradley of 'putting him off' in another cringeworthy exchange as the quizmaster fumed: "I'm on your side!"
Despite the awkwardness, Bradley made it to the final chase alongside Vicki and Radzi.
However, chaser Jenny Ryan was on fire as she took the players score of 16 out with 35 seconds to spare.
The Vixen stunned fans with her glammed-up appearance on the show as she rocked up without her iconic cat eye glasses.
She'd also styled her hair into a sleek updo to match her festive green gown.
Even host Bradley was taken aback by Jenny’s glamorous appearance, as he exclaimed: “You look so different without your glasses!”
The Chase fans were equally stunned, taking to Twitter to heap praise on the stylish star.
One wrote: “Jenny’s scrubbed up well,” as another echoed: “Wow Jenny looks stunning.”
While another gushed: “Jenny looking fabulous - love her without her glasses.”
