The Chase viewers were stunned to see a player they ‘recognised’ popping up on the ITV show this week, with some saying she looked just like Helen Mirren.
Thursday’s episode saw Vickie from Middlesex, Angus from Newcastle and Tim from the Isle of Man take on the Chaser in a bid to win some serious cash, in the quiz show hosted by Bradley Walsh.
But it was contestant Julie from the Vale of Glamorgan in south-east Wales that got people talking.
The blonde contestant caused a stir on Twitter when some fans said she looked just like actress Helen Mirren.
However, it quickly emerged there was a difference of opinion – with one fan suggesting viewers should ‘go to Specsavers’.

Of those who thought Julie was a dead ringer for The Queen star, one Twitter user wrote: “Never thought I’d see Helen Mirren on The Chase.”
Another said: “Helen Mirren in seat 2 there #thechase.”
A third chimed in: “#TheChase Julie reminds me a bit of Helen Mirren.”
While a fourth joked: “Julie is what you get when you order Helen Mirren from Wish... #TheChase.”
But other viewers weren’t so convinced, with one saying: “Apparently Chase fans say this lady looks like Helen Mirren. May I respectfully suggest an opticians appointment.”
The Chase has been going since 2009 and is one of ITV’s most popular quiz shows.
But Chaser Anne Hegerty recently opened up on host Bradley Walsh's most annoying trait during filming.
The Governess shared Bradley can sometimes make long filming days longer due to his constant chattiness.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Anne said: "He sometimes has the tendency to chat on and on and on with contestants and we're sitting down at the bottom with The Chase's producer, who doubles as the show's editor, and he's like 'for goodness sake, Brad! This is all coming out' and makes snip gestures."
The Vixen, Jenny Ryan, also revealed the Chasers have their own private WhatsApp group which Bradley isn't a part of.
She told the publication: "We have the Chasers group chat, which no Bradley isn't in, we'd drive him up the wall and he'd drive us up the wall."
