A contestant on The Chase shocked Bradley Walsh when she admitted she was disappointed after thinking she would be appearing on Tipping Point instead.
Kerry Nelson was one of the contestants on the ITV show earlier this week and was asked by the host if she was ready to play the game.
She admitted she was feeling a little bit "out of my depth", with Bradley interrupting to add: "Join the club."
"Because I thought I was going to be on Tipping Point," she brutally quipped, which shocked Bradley.
He asked: "You did?" to which she continued: "Yeah, I was expecting to meet Ben Shephard."
Kerry added: "It's not that I'm disappointed but have you seen Ben Shephard?"
While she was talking, Bradley looked mildly offended and was lost for words after hearing her admission.
In order to save the moment, Kerry added: "You look great," which prompted a dumbfounded Bradley to say: "But I'm not Ben Shephard.
"More like a German Shephard."
Later on in the episode, Chaser Paul Sinha took a jab at Bradley when he said: "Hello Kerry... Hello Ben."
Ben later came across the clip and took to Twitter to make a joke about the situation.
He said: "Well you can’t blame her Brad she’s only human! [shrugging emoji] [laughing emoji].
"That said, German Shepherd is as good as if not better than the real Shephard if you ask me @BradleyWalsh #TippingPoint #TheChase @ITVChase @TippingPointITV."
Ben has been part of our screens for two decades.
ITV viewers can catch the handsome presenter on Thursday and Friday mornings on Good Morning Britain, alongside Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid, as well as every weekday afternoon as the face of game show Tipping Point.
The much-loved host has an allegiance of adoring female fans, and just a few weeks ago, comedian Daisy May Cooper admitted her admiration for Shephard as she joined them on the GMB sofa.
Unfortunately for smitten fans, Ben was snapped up years ago and has been married to his wife Annie Perks for 19 years after meeting her as a student.
