History was made on The Chase this week after a contestant nabbed a whopping £75,000 by himself following a superb performance.
Dublin Chaser Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis sent three contestants home but couldn't catch 20-year-old Eden in the final chase, RSVP Live reports. After his cash builder, Eden bravely took the higher offer of £75,000 and was the only contestant to make it to the final chase.
During the final chase, the young man managed to secure an impressive 18 correct answers by himself, which Darragh wasn't able to beat. Host Bradley Walsh was enthused by the result and said it was the "highest ever single win in TV quiz show history".

He continued: "That is brilliant for a 20 year old, amazing, you scored 18 - you have to be happy with that. Extraordinary. Well played."
Eden thanked Darragh as the Chaser told him: "Well done. I would have got you if you had not got those pushbacks. Those pushbacks were vital. Really well done. You did outrun me."
Bradley asked the young winner: "75 grand! 20 years of age! What a show. What are you going to do with the money now?"
Eden replied: "Just look at it in my bank account!"
Viewers at home were seriously impressed by Eden's performance, and took to Twitter to share their thoughts. "What a legend! What a bloody legend! Yes, Eden! #TheChase @ITVChase," said one fan.
"He was bloody good for a young lad. @BradleyWalsh is dead right, #TheChase is the best quiz on TV," a second wrote.
While another added: " #TheChase...well done Eden you thoroughly deserved your £75000 I hope you enjoy watching it in your bank account!"
