Brendan Rodgers has urged his Celtic side to have "no regrets" as they travel to Munich for the second leg of the Champions League tie against Bayern.
Celtic kept the tie alive in the first leg with Daizen Maeda netting in the second half to see the deficit cut in half in Glasgow.
While Bayern have the 2-1 advantage heading to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, Celtic can take confidence from the stats from the clash at Parkhead.
In fact, going by the Expected Goals metric, Celtic should have won the match.
Expected Goals (xG) is defined as: "Expected goals (xG) measures the quality of a chance by calculating the likelihood that it will be scored from a particular position on the pitch during a particular phase of play."
Sofascore stats state Celtic had a 1.37 xG while Bayern Munich had just 0.7 xG from the European contest.
Simply, Bayern Munich were more clinical with their chances in Glasgow but the metric suggests Celtic have the capabilities to hurt the Bundesliga club next week.

Rodgers said: "We get one more shot, it's a new level for a lot of the players. They've done absolutely great. So, we've got one more shot now in a wonderful arena, a fantastic pitch. Let's go over and have no regrets, and let's see where it takes us.
"It's still tight, the game's still in the balance and I think if you defend strong and compete, and then we've shown that we can actually play football and that we can be a threat. We are still right in the tie.
"I mentioned beforehand about staying alive and being in the game because with their quality and the number of goals that they can score then sometimes these can be out of sight. But it wasn't the case at all. We can find confidence from that last period and I'm looking forward already to next Tuesday."
