The Cardinals’ social media team trolled Russell Wilson’s airplane workouts after preseason win

Who says the NFL preseason can’t get incredibly petty and hilarious?

After the Arizona Cardinals earned an 18-17 preseason win over the Denver Broncos on Friday night, the Cardinals’ social media team absolutely roasted its old NFC West foe Russell Wilson by making fun of his London airplane workout routine while his other teammates were asleep.

Using a recent, NSFW viral video involving an unruly airline passenger claiming to see someone in the back of the plane that wasn’t a person, the Cardinals team showed the video of the woman yelling someone wasn’t real and then edited in a video of Wilson working out over an image of people sleeping on a plane.

Especially for the preseason, this is absolutely brutal trolling.

While the Cardinals have plenty of reasons to enjoy a good trolling of Wilson, this is just next-level petty stuff.

Arizona might not be in for the best 2023 as things stand, but they’ll easily have a candidate for best social media joke of the fall as of now.
