AJ Odudu may have had an unlucky time on Strictly Come Dancing but her television career has been thriving.
Odudu is confirmed to front Channel 4’s reality challenge series The Bridge, which will return to our screens later this year.
The eight-part series features 16 strangers split in two teams and they attempt to build a bridge over 1,000ft of water in 12 days. Whoever gets to the jackpot first will decide whether or not to split the £200,000 cash prize held on top of Fortune Rock.

Here’s everything else you need to know about the return of The Bridge.
When does The Bridge return for its second season on Channel 4?
A set date is yet to be confirmed by Channel 4, however, we know that it will be returning later this year.
Who is AJ Odudu replacing?
Scottish actor James McAvoy narrated the debut series last November.
The second series will see Odudu joined by explorer Aldo Kane in the paradise islands of Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.
Julie won the first season of the competition and split the £80K cash prize with her fellow contestant Sly.
Their group managed to build the bridge in 20 days and once it was complete, the finalists were given one attempt to safely cross it to reach the tower.
Voting by the contestants revealed that Julie was voted four times as worthy of taking home the cash prize and therefore she became the first winner.
