The Boston Red Sox entered the month of July with the fourth-best record in the American League. And while the AL East race seemed to be comfortably going the Yankees’ way, Boston was looking like a clear contender for a Wild Card berth.
That all changed in July.
The month isn’t even over yet, and July has already been an abysmal time for the Red Sox. They’re 5-15 with seven games left in July, and they’ve fallen to three games out of the third Wild Card position. Between the bats going cold (they’ve only scored six-plus runs twice this month), poor pitching and amateurish defense, it’s been a meltdown across the board for Boston,

Jomboy Media put together the video, and yeah, the Red Sox’s 5-15 record makes a lot of sense after watching it. It makes you wonder how much worse these next seven games can get for Boston.
