The two big events over the Memorial Day weekend was the series finale of HBO’s Succession and what turned out to be the season finale for the Boston Celtics.
Many fans couldn’t help by notice the similarities between Kendall Roy’s apparent comeback before ultimately losing thanks to his sister, Shiv, stabbing him in the back and Boston’s comeback from 3–0 down to the Heat to even the series before flopping in Game 7 at home Monday.
Other fans pointed out the similarities between the eighth-seeded Heat reaching the NBA Finals and Tom Wambsgans ending up as the CEO of Waystar Royco.
Those comparisons made for some amusing tweets.

2. Succession and Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals were the two biggest events of the weekend, but the most important event and the most powerful event was the return of White Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma five months ago. What a moment.
