While a number of former Boston Celtics have made their way into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in recent years, the 2023 class has a notable absence.
The Boston players most recently elected to the hoops hall were from the 2008 title core: Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. That means the next wave of talented Boston players who have a shot at making it in could be current star forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
There may be other Celtics who sneak in before that, such as Al Horford given international and NCAA play are also considered. Even then, it could be a while before any more Celtics join the Hall.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “A-List” podcast talked that over on a recent episode.
Check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say about future Boston HoFers.
