Hope knows she’s playing with fire on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her current infatuation with Finn could end in disaster; will she be able to handle his rejection?
Hope (Annika Noelle) has been hit hard by heartache lately. Her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton) ended as her affair with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) heated up, eventually becoming a full-fledged relationship. After she turned down his two proposals, Thomas fled to France and Hope, in the meantime, realized that the ideal man for her is Finn (Tanner Novlan). Then Thomas returned with a shocker: he was engaged to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
Despite Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) warnings, Hope can’t stop thinking about Finn. She’s even experienced some hot and heavy daydreams about the hunky doctor.
With everything happening with her father right now, Hope is reeling. Finn has always been supportive of her, and as a concerned doctor, he has even helped to relieve her chronic headaches with massages from his talented hands. We suspect that Hope will once again turn to Finn for help, but this time she’s going to find something different.
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told Finn to stay away from Hope. Initially, Finn took his wife’s warning with a grain of salt, mainly because their families are all so close. But after insisting that his birth mother needed to be arrested in the July 17 episode, Hope is going to find that Finn has changed a bit.
In the preview for this week’s B&B, we see that Finn and Steffy’s bond is strengthened. That means Finn isn’t going to play around with Hope’s advances, provided she makes them in real life and not in her head.
After Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) arrest, Finn and Steffy are closer than ever before. Finn’s eyes are open, too. He was willing to overlook Sheila’s threat until the dual murders at Il Giardino, and now it seems like he’s going to heed Steffy’s warning about Hope, too.
We have to wonder whether Hope will be able to navigate Finn’s rejection should it come to pass. She’s been falling apart lately with all of the changes in her life, including almost losing Hope for the Future. We have a feeling that losing Finn’s friendship will hit her harder than everything else because she sees him as the ideal man, and it could send her spiraling even more.
