Bill Spencer is very happy to have a new life with Poppy and his daughter, Luna, in The Bold and the Beautiful, but now that he’s told Katie that she’s the love of his life, will he change his mind about which woman he loves more?
All of a sudden Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) has a wealth of women in his life. He’s head over heels for his daughter, Luna (Lisa Yamada), and he’s thrilled to rekindle his romance with Poppy (Romy Park). But in the July 4 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful he told Katie (Heather Tom) that she was the love of his life.
Of course, a suspicious Poppy saw the former couple share a passionate embrace when she went to the Forrester Creations offices to find out what was taking Bill so long. Poppy was already wary of Katie and how close she was to Bill; naturally, this won’t make things easier.
And for her part, Katie isn’t wrong about the strong feeling she has about Poppy. Poppy has some skeletons in her closet and she might have even killed Tom (Clint Howard).
So is it possible that Bill might see through Poppy’s web of deception and move on from her? Yes, it’s entirely possible. Bill Spencer isn’t someone who likes to deal with people who lie. He doesn't need that in his life, which means he’d probably tell Poppy to leave. It would be painful for him, yes, but now he knows that Katie also sees him as the love of her life so maybe there’s a chance of reconciliation there.
When it comes to his daughter, Luna, we don’t think that Bill’s relationship with his daughter would end just because he’s not with Poppy anymore. In fact, we think Bill could be a lifeline for Luna should her mother be implicated in Tom’s death. Luna is already wary of the secrets her mother has been keeping, including her “special mints” and the fact that she kept Luna’s father a secret for so long.
Bill says he’s grown a lot, but it’s not likely that he’s grown to the point that he can handle having his “magical night” illusion shattered by the truth, namely that Poppy was with Tom that entire time and Bill was actually a one-night stand for her.
With the seeds of doubt planted in his mind, we have no doubt that Bill might cut his ties with Poppy, but he’ll work hard to keep Katie and Luna in his life.
