The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Li and Poppy both guilty?

Li (Naomi Matsuda) in The Bold and the Beautiful.

After some very strange happenings in the high fashion world of The Bold and the Beautiful, we have to wonder whether Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Poppy (Romy Park) are both guilty.

B&B fans have always known Li Finnegan to be a very formidable woman. She’s a great role model for Finn (Tanner Novlan) and she loves her grandchildren fiercely. But her behavior of late has us wondering what’s really going on with her since Tom’s (Clint Howard) death.

As soon as Poppy arrived in Los Angeles, Li maintained that her sister was a gold digger who preyed upon wealthy men. The siblings have apparently always had a contentious relationship and much of that contention comes from Poppy’s carefree lifestyle and the men that come with it.

When Tom collapsed on stage, Li didn’t rush to help him. This was very suspicious given that she is, in fact, a doctor. Li’s unwillingness to help Tom only makes sense if it can be assumed that she knew her sister was with Tom all those years ago and that Tom could pose a threat to Poppy (and Luna’s) relationship to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Of course, Li was the one who gave Luna (Lisa Yamada) the DNA test and we’re not entirely sure it was done properly given Tom’s assertions that he’s Luna’s father.

Lately, Li has been telling Finn that he needs to focus on Steffy in the wake of all the madness with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). In a way, it feels like she’s making sure her son — and now her niece — are set up comfortably for the rest of their lives. Finn with the Forresters and Luna with the Spencers.

But does that mean Li killed Tom? It’s not so clear. It makes more sense that Poppy killed him to keep him quiet. After all, they’d had a heated argument in Deacon’s apartment just minutes before the doomed performance.

Perhaps, though, Poppy didn’t kill him. Maybe it was Li who slipped the poison in his drink while Poppy had Tom distracted. Could it be that the Nozawa sisters are working in tandem to keep their family in a position of power? Though Li doesn’t seem to have any cares about Poppy’s life, we’re willing to bet she’d help Poppy keep Luna’s life secure just as she’s made sure Finn was in a good position, too. We think the Nozawa sisters might be using their Nozawa Power for nefarious reasons, but only time will tell if they’re the ones who are behind Tom’s death.
