The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: is Sheila guilty, innocent or a bit of both?

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) listening in The Bold and the Beautiful.

Sheila Carter has a colorful past in The Bold and the Beautiful. Is she involved in the two deaths at Il Giardino, is she actually innocent this time or is the truth somewhere in between?

With Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) both dead within a matter of days, police will be circling Il Giardino looking for answers.

In the previews of The Bold and the Beautiful for the week of July 15, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) suggests to the police chief that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is a natural suspect because of her checkered past. Given that both men died of a drug overdose, it’s just too suspicious for it to be a coincidence.

But did Sheila have a hand in their deaths? Well, it’s hard to say.

Sheila had reason to get Tom out of the picture after he looked into her past, but his research was surface level at best; he told Deacon (Sean Kanan) he’d done his research at the library so he was only accessing old news reports. While that angered Sheila, we can’t imagine that there was that much information there that wasn’t already widely known.

Knowing that Deacon, Tom and Hollis were close, it’s surprising that Sheila would jeopardize her relationship with her new husband. There’s no real gain for her in killing them.

When she hears Deacon talking about how upset he is in the previews, she has a look on her face that’s hard to interpret. It’s either that she knows what happened because she was the cause of it, or she knows that something happened because she was once a criminal and she knows the whole thing is very shady.

We’re thinking the answer lies somewhere in between guilty and innocence. Sheila threatened Tom and Hollis before they died. She told Tom to back off on his research right before he spotted Poppy (Romy Park) having dinner with Bill (Don Diamont), which triggered him a great deal. She also shocked Hollis when she told him to throw Tom’s belongings away.

We don’t think Sheila killed Tom and Hollis, but we have a feeling she’s not entirely innocent here, either. We’re not sure what that all means just yet but we know Steffy thinks she’s involved and that will no doubt lead to other revelations about the two mysterious deaths in the near future.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and the following day on Paramount Plus. Check your local listings to see when it comes on where you are.
