Rapper Kanye West tried to get his ex-girlfriend Julia Fox to sign an NDA after they broke up, the actor alleged in her new memoir.
Fox, 33, had a brief relationship with West, 46, in 2022 after he split from his reality TV star wife, Kim Kardashian.
Not much is known about the brief fling, which lasted just one month, and the Uncut Gems star previously said West would not feature much in her new memoir, Down the Drain. But the 33-year-old opened up about some details of her short-lived fling with the controversial rapper.
She detailed the apparent frustration she began to feel while in the relationship with West and what she claimed was the indirect influence of Kardashian on their relationship.
According to Fox, she was simply a “pawn” in West’s “grand master plan to get back at his ex-wife.” And Fox considered that “a really sh***y position to be in.”
She also detailed the time her estranged ex-boyfriend’s assistants delivered a non-disclosure agreement to her, to which she responded with a blunt text.
West allegedly reached out to Fox with a text that read: “I can’t be friends with you if you don’t sign it.” The actor said she responded with a text reading: “I’ll live.”
In her memoir, the Italian-American model also claimed dating West was like having a second baby.

Fox, who is already the mother of a two-year-old, revealed she quickly knew they would not last as a couple because she was not able to fit a “really big personality” into her “jam-packed life.”
“Ultimately I cannot put anybody else first,” she said. “My son has to be first. It just became too much. I didn’t sign up to have two babies. I couldn’t do it. It felt like two babies.”
Her memoir also revealed West offered to get her a “boob job”. Although she wrote that she turned down the rapper’s offer, his comment still hurt her, she said.
“His words stick to me like a piece of lint on my clothes. I can’t shake off the uncomfortable feeling,” she wrote.
She also reflected on the brief romance itself, noting that she first viewed the relationship with West as one that had potential and “could be something real”.
“I really understood him on a visceral level,” Fox said, adding that she “thought ultimately I’d be helping a precarious situation” when it came to his dynamic with his ex, Kardashian. “But I learned very quickly that I was being weaponised,” she continued. “I just felt like his little puppet.”
Fox revealed she met West after they received each other’s numbers through mutual friends. According to Fox, the relationship began with long conversations on the phone before they met in person on New Year’s Eve in 2021 and had dinner together the next day, which is when he asked her to make the relationship official.
The couple then split up just one month later on Valentine’s Day 2022.
