The Block 2024 is set to lose yet another couple from the show after a contestant has an “absolute meltdown”. Yikes.
Considering the reno show is supposedly one of the more wholesome ones, it’s sure been filled with drama this year. We’ve had a cheating scandal, the emergence of a love rat, and Jesse and Paige are set to quit the show shortly… oooft. As a reality TV fan though, I’m absolutely LOVING this!
According to So Dramatic!, Kylie and Brad Baker are set to drop their tools and walk off at the end of week 12. Was the pressure cooker simply too much for the Queensland parents?

“Kylie had a huge blow-up at the end of week 12, then quit the show,” an insider from the production team claimed.
“She refused to keep filming, and the couple weren’t there to complete their communal space in week 13. I’m not sure how it will play out on TV or how they will edit it.”
There have been other rumours floating around about Kylie and Brad’s marriage, with a Woman’s Day insider claiming the pair have split since filming the show. Take this with a grain of salt, but it’s pretty spicy.
According to the source, Brad has moved out of their home in Cairns. The insider caught wind of the rumour after multiple people called the Queensland radio station 4BC to spill the tea.
“The station has been hearing the rumour repeatedly from Queensland listeners,” the source said.

It looks like viewers can expect explosive fights between Kylie and Brad to take place on The Block in upcoming episodes, with a Daily Mail source saying they occasionally acted “immature” and “a tad cringe”.
“Kylie and Brad are going to find watching the show back quite uncomfortable — as they really have a unique way of speaking to each other,” the insider said.
“The Block really shows the dirt under the fingernails when it comes to the dynamics between these new contestants. It’s fly-on-the-wall television at its best watching the latest bunch navigate the trials and tribulations of building a house over 12 weeks.”
While producers may have been thrown for a loop with two couples quitting in just three months, you must admit it makes for damn good television. I can’t wait to see this all play out on screen!
