Jeff Stewart is best known for portrayed PC Reg Hollis on The Bill.
The 67-year-old actor had black locks, which were slicked into a pushed back hairstyle and sported a copper's uniform on screen.
But, years after the police drama wrapped up for the final time, Jeff looks very different to how fans would remember.
Jeff has undergone a complete transformation as he now sports long, curly silver locks and a big beard of the same colour, too.
He was spotted running errands before stopping for a bite to eat on Friday.
Jeff has been spotted on several occasions since The Bill ended, but looked dramatically different to his character of PC Hollis than ever in the latest snaps.
He wore an oversized wet look, black jacket with a yellow and brown checked shirt underneath and layered up with a black tee under the shirt.
The actor sported a pair of black jeans with a brown pair of boots, which matched his belt.
Jeff also wore a pair of glasses with a black frame and tinted lens.
Jeff was seen having a chat with a woman who had a child and even gave the child a friendly wave as he left the eatery.
During the sighting, he was seen carrying a bowl of food before leaving the café with a brown paper bag and an Andy Warhol book.
Jeff played Reg for 24 years on The Bill before his character was sadly axed in 2008 before the show ended for good in 2012.
A year before the show ended in 2011 Jeff admitted he felt "badly let down" by the decision to axe his character after 872 episodes.
After the news was broken to him by producers, Jeff said he was faced with two choices.
He previously told The Sun: "I didn’t see a counsellor, it was evident I was OK and I never worried how it would affect my career.
"I thought, ‘I have a choice, you can either stagnate or blossom'."
Since The Bill, he continued acting and had a role in Under Jakob's Ladder in 2011, for which he won Best Actor at the Manhattan Film Festival.
Meanwhile, 10 years on from the show's axing UKTV was said to be in talks for a reboot of the series.
In May this year it was reported by The Sun that UKTV were "in the early stages of developing a new version" of the fan favourite.
A TV insider said at the time: "In the minds of many producers and execs, The Bill is a drama which is just sitting, waiting, to be rebooted.
"It’s a simple format but one which attracted a loyal army of followers who would be delighted to see it return.
"No doubt any new incarnation would be tweaked to make it attract a whole new generation to the show."
