The Bill fans will know Jeff Stewart as PC Reg Hollis – but the actor sports a very different look to his days as the clean-cut police officer.
Jeff, now 67, has been photographed looking very different as he was spotted with a grey bushy beard and long locks as he was seen out shopping with a mystery woman earlier this week.
The TV star, who continues to work as an actor, looked very dapper as he sported a cream double breasted coat and beige suede gloves for the outing.
He added a pair of dark brown sunglasses and an orange and white canvas bag for his shopping trip.
The PC Reg Hollis actor had his long grey locks in a swept back hairstyle along with his bushy beard – which looks to have turned more grey from when he was snapped in October.
Jeff wasn't alone for his trip, as he was accompanied by a mystery woman – with whom he walked arm-in-arm with. His female companion wore a mustard yellow jumper with a green velvet-look coat on top and accessorised the ensemble with a brown hat with a flower embellishment on.
The pair were seen chatting and laughing as they walked together throughout the trip.
Jeff sported a very different look during his time playing Reg Hollis from 1984 until 2008 when he was sadly axed from the show after 24 years of playing the role.
His character was clean-shaven and had his short dark brown hair shorter at the sides as the longer top was combed to the side.
The Bill actor would regularly wear a smart copper's outfit, which included a white shirt, black tie and police officer's vest.
Reg's character was axed four years before the programme ended for good in 2012. However, a year before the cameras stopped rolling, Jeff said he had felt "badly let down" by the decision to axe his character after 872 episodes.
After the news was broken to him by producers, Jeff said he was faced with two choices.
He previously told The Sun: "I didn’t see a counsellor, it was evident I was OK and I never worried how it would affect my career.
"I thought, ‘I have a choice, you can either stagnate or blossom'."
Since his departure, Jeff has continued acting and has had roles in movies and TV shows including Dead Man Running, The Hooligan Factory and Mob Handed.
He also starred in Under Jakob's Ladder in 2011, in which he picked up the Best Actor gong at the Manhattan Film Festival.
He also has a series of roles in upcoming productions, too.
Meanwhile, there were rumours The Bill could be rebooted in May last year.
In May this year it was reported by The Sun that UKTV were "in the early stages of developing a new version" of the fan favourite but, nothing has since been reported.
