Community carol singing around the vast tree will kick off the fun at 6pm, led by the Christ Church Choir.

This will be followed by a short blessing by the Vicar of Christ Church Rev Paul Langham before the big switch on at 6.30pm.

The work combines sound, light, physical space and virtual worlds to produce alluring and emotive headspaces.

Alongside the light installation there will be a Bump roller disco, film screenings on We The Curious' big screen, a snug bar serving festive drinks, delicious food and more.
