Co Fermanagh has an abundance of things to do around the county, especially as we head towards the summer months.
With waterways and mountains unrivalled across many parts of the UK and Ireland, there really is no excuse not to get out and about enjoy what it has to offer.
That being said, with energy prices rising and everything generally having become more expensive in recent months, it can be hard to justify a day out if it costs too much.

So we decided to share some of the best responses with you here:
Castle Archdale
This famous Co Fermanagh beauty spot is the ideal place to head for a leisurely walk to take in the fresh air.
Grab a coffee and a friend, or take some time to yourself, and you'll not regret it.

Cuilcagh Boardwalk
What is there left to say about this place? Without doubt it has brought a huge number of visitors to Co Fermanagh as people come from far and wide to get the ideal Instagram shot.
The 'stairway to heaven' is popular for a reason - it's a great spot to get out and about and take in the best of what the county has to offer. And it's free!
Go swimming
With Co Fermanagh's many lakelands making it one of the wettest parts of the country, why not get out and see it for yourself?
As we head towards the better part of the year weather wise, many around the county will be taking dips to cool the head.
There's plenty of swimming spots around the county, and a few groups too. Just make sure you know what you're doing!
Fermanagh Fun Farm
What about a day out with the kids and a load of cute animals?
Fermanagh Fun Farm in Lisbellaw is run by local man Alan Potters and is a great way to keep the young ones occupied for an afternoon on the cheap.
Head for a picnic
Just grab a sandwich, jump on the car, bike or on your feet and go! As the warmer weather comes in there is little better than bringing a blanket and some nice grub and enjoying the sunshine.
There are lots of beauty spots around the county where you can pitch up for a few hours and relax.
Watersports
As we've pointed out, Co Fermanagh's waterways bring a huge amount of potential to the county.
As well as swimming, new watersports activities are popping up all the time to get you out enjoying the water safely.
Erne Paddlers offer paddle boarding and canoeing among other activities, with a taster day coming up at just £5 per person.
Grab lunch
The beauty of Co Fermanagh compared to other more urban areas is that you often get a bit more bang for your buck when it comes to eating out.
Enniskillen and many other parts of the county have plenty of places where you are well able to head out for a nice lunch and a drink without breaking the bank.
