A list of the best Sunday dinners in the whole of Britain have been revealed - and three Manchester restaurants have made the cut.
The compilation of 50 places to get a decent roast was put together by a team of reviewers at travel site Big 7.
From traditional pubs to contemporary restaurants, they've unveiled the best places not only in the UK, but in and around Manchester.
And, one Manchester Sunday roast has been named as one of the top five in the whole of Britain.
Big 7 Travel say "There are few things as simple yet as revered as the traditional Sunday roast in the UK.
"One of the world’s great meals, it varies very little in terms of core ingredients but is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to flavour.
"Some are good. Some are ordinary. And well, some are just plain awful. But some Sunday roasts in the UK stand on the shoulder’s of giants.
"They provide tasty sustenance for a day of walking, watching sport and possible additional drinking."
These are the best Sunday Roasts in Manchester - plus the ones just outside the area that are worth the trip*:

Manchester:
1. Mash Tun, 55 King Street, Manchester (5)

A mash-up of a specialist craft beer and music bar come gastropub has a winning combination when it comes to Sunday roasts.
They describe the food as 'unpretentious and wholesome', with a roast that comes 'piled high with some seriously tasty veggie' and gravy that 'binds the whole meal together perfectly.'
2. The Refuge, Oxford St, Manchester (18)

The Refuge Dining Room & Public Bar offers an all day Sunday roast which is described as 'for sharing' with 'large platters being served with ample food and lashings of gravy.'
Their Yorkshire puddings are 'so big that you could nearly crawl inside them and have a nap', according to the reviewer.
3. Hispi, 1C School Lane, Didsbury (26)

The award-winning Hispi is home to one of the best roasts in Manchester, according to the list.
Ranking 26, their reviewer said Hispi has the 'perfect sized roast' which is 'served up with the most delicious trimmings and a Yorkshire pudding that is cooked to perfection.'
Worth the trip:
The Pheasant Tattenhall, Cheshire (45)

The reviewer says the Sunday roast at The Pheasant is 'absolute perfection every single time', which relies on the sourcing of 'seriously high ingredients' handled by 'true professionals'.
The Inn at Whitewell, near Clitheroe, Lancashire (59)

This establishment is commended for its hyper-local sourcing and knowing exactly where its ingredients come from, something which the reviewer says 'really shines through' with its Sunday lunch.
They describe it as 'the sort of spot that you really don’t want to leave.'
