The best Scottish parks to enjoy a picnic or a wander in with the good weather

When it comes to green spaces, Scotland has it covered.

Every city and town in the country has a plethora of parks and wild spots for people to reconnect with nature.

The warmer months are on the way and day trips are on our minds, with picnics to be planned and walks to be arranged.

There are few better places to meander when the mercury soars than some of the wonderful green spots you'll find across the country.

We've picked out some of our favourite parks from around Scotland that are ideal for a pincic or wander on those hotter days.

Crombie Park, Angus

This country park in Angus is a local favourite and a wonderful place to spot wildlife such as red squirrels and even woodpeckers.
