To help you decide which pubs to try, you can always head to Tripadvisor to read the reviews or check the venue's Google rating.
While there isn't a specific section for pubs on the American travel website, you can filter restaurants to 'pubs and bars' on the establishment type section, and opt for pub food under cuisine.
Tripadvisor ranks the reviews to give places an overall position for how good they are in a particular field, such as top restaurants and things to do.
To help you hunt down the most popular pub in your area, we've taken a look at the number 1 rated pub for each borough on Tripadvisor, so you don't have to, alongside their rating on Google.

Not only did they make sure we got a table (by working miracles!) the service and food was excellent. Neil and Katie were attentive and professional, whilst also managing to make (hilarious) banter at the expense of our friend (we approve!). The food was plentiful and excellent and we will definitely return again."
