Estate agent Robin Engney from Knight Frank, said he believed the best places for new buyers would be the Totterdown, Southville and Bedminster areas. He said: “While they’re still expensive, they’re highly desirable with children’s nurseries, schools and good access to Bristol Temple Meads station.”

Robin went on to add that those areas of the city are “very popular and I think they will continue to be".

Chloe Sorensen from Clifton and Butlers Limited thought the best places would be Kingswood and Hanham as “they were a little bit cheaper and you can get more for your money”. While both locations are further out you’re still well connected through bus links and other public transport. Chloe added that Kingswood “is a younger area,” with lots of younger people living in the area and young families.

Another area she suggested, which also has a younger population is the Redlands area. While this is a big favourite with university students, as the university is just around the corner, she said “it’s a nice area for first-time buyers”.
