The Boston Celtics had their share of emphatic slam dunks during the course of the NBA’s 2022-23 season, with star forwards Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown joined by human dunk machine Robert Williams III flushing the rock with plenty of help on the regular from less airborne players like Marcus Smart, Derrick White, Malcolm Brogdon, and even Blake Griffin.
And while the bread and butter of the so-called Mazzulla ball (named for head coach Joe Mazzulla’s predilection for the 3-point shot) played by the team last season had the bulk of the team’s offense coming from beyond the arc, there was a highlight reel worth of dunks, putbacks, and posters worthy of another look for posterity.
To that end, the team put together a short clip of the very best flushes from last season.
