Even though she is no doubt going to be overshadowed by Baal, a lot more people are probably going to end up with a copy or two of Genshin Impact’s new 4 star, Kujou Sara, Baal’s trusted general who is debuting in the same banner.
But you shouldn’t count her out. Early indications say that Kujou Sara could be quite strong, due to her ability to buff her teammates when off the field, and some are comparing her to an Electro-based Bennett, a massively popular 4 star given his potential to work effectively with his team with off-rotation buffs.
So, if you’re going to go for Kujou Sara alongside Baal, what are the best builds for her?
The Best Kujou Sara Artifacts
Thundering Fury (Midsummer Courtyard Domain) – (2 piece) Electro DMG +15%, (4 piece) Overload, Electro-Charged, and Superconduct damage +40%. Triggering those 3 reactions reduces Elemental Burst cooldown by 1 second. Can only activate once every 0.8 seconds.
Noblesse Oblige (Clear Pool & Mountain Cavern) – (2 piece) Elemental Burst DMG +20%, (4 piece) After using an Elemental Burst, all teammates get +20% ATK. Lasts 12s, does not stack.
This choice is pretty straightforward, either a full set of Thundering Fury for electro damage, or you can split the difference between two pieces of Thunder and two of Noblesse, which is also an option for Baal.
The Best Kujou Sara Bows and Weapons
Amos’ Bow (5 star) - Increases Normal and Charged Attack DMG by 12%. Normal and Charged Attack DMG increases by 8% every 0.1s for up to 5 times.
Skyward Harp (5 star) - Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.
Favonius Warbow (4 star) - CRIT Hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occure once every 12s.
The Stringless (4 star) - Increased Elemental Skill And Elemental Burst DMG by 24%.
Here, the choice is a little bit different, considering that 4 stars have no dedicated weapons that launch alongside them. Amos’ Bow is the top choice because Kujou Sara gets bonuses for fully charged shots, so you won’t be using say, Rust with her or anything like that, and Amos’ gets big bonuses for charged, far-flying arrows. The Stringless is also a top pick for anyone trying to lean on elemental or burst damage, and I will finally get some use out of my second max refined one, the first being permanently attached to Venti.
Kujou Sara should be easier to find, gear up and use than Baal, so don’t be too disappointed if you get her and not the 5 star. Build her up, and she’ll be extremely strong and a good core member of your team going forward.
