The John Lewis ad has finally aired and Mariah has reappeared with her most famous hit, which can only mean one thing – that's right it's Panto season.
And as always, Glasgow has a strong selection of shows on offer with plenty of options featuring some of your favourite fairy tales or fables, with Scotland's top TV and soap stars, models and presenters flexing their skills on stage.
So if you're looking for the best pantos to take the family to this festive season, then we have pulled together a top list featuring the best shows from across the city.

Kings Theatre
What's on? Sleeping Beauty, a fun reimagining of this classic tale will see the beautiful Belle try to undo the spell placed on the Beast by the Evil Princess. This fun panto will run from Sat, November 26, until Sat, Dec 31 2022.
Who is in it? Pantomime legends Elaine C Smith and Johnny Mac.
How do I get tickets? With prices starting from £13, you can get tickets from the ATG website.
Oran Mor
What's on? Rab Hood and the Sheriff of Shettleston (14+), sees Evil Sir Percy ‘no mercy’ Sheriff of Shettleston go head to head with arch enemy Rab Hood (allegedly hiding out in the leafy west end). As they battle for the heart of Maid Marion, Rab's formidable maw, Dame Beanie McHood must try to survive all the craziness.
Who is in it? George Drennan, Hannah Howie, John Kielty, Clare Waugh and Craig McLean.
How do I get tickets? Running throughout the month of December, tickets can be picked up via the Ticketmaster website.
The Pavillion
What's on? Aladdin, his mum Widow Twanky and his cheeky older brother Wishee Washee try to defeat the Wicked Sorcerer Abanazer and his plan to become Master of the World, with the help of the Genie Of The Lamp and The Spirit Of The Ring, and of course, the beautiful Princess Jasmine.
Who is in it? Liam Dolan as Wishee Washee, Stephen Purdon and Grado as Ping & Pong, the Cheeky Chinese Policemen, Scott Fletcher as Aladdin, Nicola Park as Widow Twanky, Brooke Thomson as Princess Jasmine, Wullie Brennan as The Emperor of China and Jack Jester as the Mischievous Sorcerer Abanazer.
How do I get tickets? Running from December 1 until January 15, 2022, tickets start at £15 and can be picked up from the Pavillion website.
Websters Theatre
What's on? Sleeping Senga, a pure Glaswegian take on Sleeping Beauty sees Senga enjoying her eighteenth birthday at the Panto Inn in Pure Posh Panto Partick but will evil Fairy Fierce's curse spoil her celebrations?
How do I get tickets? Running from December 2 until December 31, tickets start from £11.50 and tickets can be purchased via the theatre’s website .
