The best gigs and artists coming to Glasgow in 2023

Glasgow held some incredible gigs last year and it appears 2023 is going to be no different with some huge names and acts headed our way.

It's going to be a huge year for gigs, indoor and outdoor, with huge international stars like Muse, Snoop Dogg, KISS and Lizzo coming to Glasgow.

To celebrate, we've pulled together a list of the big names heading for venues including the OVO Hydro, Bellahouston Park and of course, Glasgow Green, where TRNSMT is returning.

And while some gigs may already be sold out, we've included them in the list just so Glasgow's music fans have all the info – with some people offering tickets for resale, but, please only buy from a reputable resale site, such as Twickets or Ticketmaster's resale scheme.

Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldi's Glasgow concert kicks off the year, with everyone's favourite Scottish singer coming back to the city on January 24.

He'll be playing hits from his new album 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent' as well as many of his other big hits.

Lizzo

Singer and songwriter Lizzo has announced she is coming back to the UK in 2023 – with the iconic performer announcing one tour date in Glasgow.

The three-time GRAMMY award-winning artist is bringing her unique brand of music to the city and eager fans can't wait to welcome her.

Snoop Dogg

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has delighted Scottish fans by confirming he'll be returning to Scotland next year as part of a rescheduled UK and Ireland tour.

The seven-date tour, which will take place in March 2023, will be music to rap fans' ears after the rapper was forced to cancel his previous UK dates this year, due to "unforeseen scheduling conflicts".

And the famous Hip Hop star is finally coming back to Glasgow for a show at the OVO Hydro on March 16, with top support acts including Warren G, D-12, Versatile, The Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, and Xzibit crew.

Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé is set to come to Glasgow as part of his 2023 tour, with the multi-platinum-selling global superstar returning to the UK with his 'Higher' tour, named after his latest album.

Iron Maiden: The Future Past Tour

Heavy metal band Iron Maiden have officially announced a series of tour dates for 2023, with the classic rockers bringing their latest album Senjutsu to life at their own headline tour in 2023.

TRNSMT

The huge festival returns to Glasgow Green this summer with organisers confirming a list of big-hitting headliners.

Britpop legends Pulp will be one of the acts taking to the main stage after frontman Jarvis Cocker confirmed earlier this year that the band would reunite for a handful of shows in 2023.

The 1975, Sam Fender, George Ezra, Kasabian, Niall Horan and The Kooks will also perform alongside the likes of Aitch, Inhaler, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Royal Blood, Becky Hill, Maisie Peters, Ashnikko, Brooke Combe and Jamie Webster.

Muse

Arena tours don't come much bigger than then rockers Muse roll into town, with the hard-hitting band bringing their Will Of The People world tour to Bellahouston Park.

Considered to be one of the best live bands in the world, Muse will be performing hits like Knights of Cydonia, Hysteria and Supermassive Blackhole.

KISS

Set to say goodbye for the final time, rock legends Kiss are heading on their ‘last tour ever’ this summer.

The End of the Road world tour is set to kick off in June, with the OVO Hydro as the final stop.

Shania Twain, Queen of Me tour

One of the most famous pop stars in the world is coming back to Glasgow for two nights following the release of the blockbuster, career-spanning Netflix documentary, Not Just A Girl.
