The best fan deals in Amazon's Prime Day sale

Amazon has made fans the centre of its Prime Day sale as temperatures in the UK soar. The heatwave hitting the country has led to weather warnings from the Met Office and shoppers are now queuing up to buy fans and coolers in the latest Prime Day sale.

Amazon has cut the price of ULTTY Bladeless Tower Fan and Air Purifier which boasts a similar bladeless design to the more premium Dyson option. The fan, which includes a remote control, timer, nine speeds and HEPA filter to improve air quality, is now priced at just £119, down from £150 in the Amazon sale.

The fan has had good reviews from users of the site with a 4.3 star rating. One users says: "Very pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this fan. Lots of careful thought has gone into its design plus the bright LED display turns off automatically so it won't disturb you at night, unlike my other fan which is a Dyson AM06! I was looking for something similar to the Dyson in function without paying for the name."

The fan is part of Amazon's Prime Day event, which sees tens of thousands of items reduced in price across two days. The summer sale also includes tower and desk fans at reduced prices.

Tower fans are in high demand and the best deal around seems to be this mini Black + Decker tower fan priced at just £17. The low noise fan won't cool a room but home workers will be able to use it at their desk to keep cool. The full size tower fan is also reduced, this time to £45, while a digital air cooler by the same brand has been cut from £100 to £72 in the Amazon sale.

Other retailers have also reduced the price of fans to take advantage of the Prime Day sales period. Argos says the Dyson tower fan is at its cheapest price ever on the site at £340. The price, says Argos, is the cheapest it has ever offered for the tower fan. The price is £10 cheaper than the official Dyson website and is one of the cheapest places to buy the fan on the market.

eBay has also reduced the cost of a Dyson device. It has cut £50 off a Dyson hot and cold air purifier. The deal brings the price down to £500 as part of eBay's summer sale.

The hot and cold air purifier may be expensive but it has had excellent reviews from users. Our reviewer Jada Jones has tested the device here and says: "It is a fairly expensive product, but with the multiple features as an effective fan, heater and purifier I think it's worth it.

"The noise is noticeable when changing temperature but otherwise not a problem and it acts quite quickly.

"You can get the Dyson Hot+Cold in numerous different shops including directly from Dyson here, through Argos here and Curry's here.

"You can also buy it via Boots and get yourself some Boots points."
