Electric vehicle lease and financing deals have come a long way since last year. With more affordable models hitting the market and inventories rising, there are plenty of great options out there. If you're in the market for an EV or plug-in hybrid this fall, chances are you’ll find a deal that fits your taste and your budget.
This summer may have been the peak for jaw-dropping EV lease deals, but we're still in the honeymoon phase as we head into winter. November 2024 brings a ton of loyalty bonuses, cash-back incentives and conquest deals, where switching from a rival brand can mean even bigger savings.
Not all November 2024 EV lease and finance deals are equally appealing, but we've included them for comparison and we'll update this list monthly.
Note that the deals may vary substantially by region. Most prices here use a New York City zip code so you could find cheaper deals elsewhere. If you find a model in your neighborhood, we recommend checking your local dealer's website for the most accurate pricing.
Notable Changes This Month
Costco member discounts are back for the winter. Select EVs can get up to $2,000 off if you're a Costco member. Another notable change is the record-low lease price of the Ford F-150 Lightning. You can drive home the electric truck at just $339 per month for 36 months with a shade over $6,000 due at signing. The Chevy Equinox EV, Blazer EV and Silverado EV now get an optional Level 2 home charger with a $750 discount.
Like last month, the best EV deals come from Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, and Tesla. You can snatch a 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 for $159 per month for 24 months with $3,999 due at signing. The Kia Niro EV and Nissan Ariya also have attractive sub-$200 monthly payment options. The Ariya is a sweet lease deal at just $169 per month.
Tesla discontinued the standard range Model 3, but the Long Range RWD with 363 miles of range is now available at the same lease price as the outgoing model: $299 per month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing.
The Volkswagen ID.4 has still not returned in stock—Volkswagen halted its production in September to fix faulty doors. But many additional models can now be leased, including the Audi Q6 E-Tron that InsideEVs reviewed a few months ago. The Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX have also entered the leasing market. The Prologue is, in fact, cheaper to lease than the Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Solterra, and the Model Y.
There's also a notable uptick in the offers on plug-in hybrids, especially those offered by Audi, Toyota, Lexus, Chrysler and Volvo. However, they're mostly pricey compared to pure EVs, except for the Toyota Prius Prime, which costs under $300 per month.
When you lease a new car, the tax credit goes to the lender and is often applied against the lease to offer the buyer a discount. The tax credit also applies to all EVs regardless of where the car and its battery materials come from, which isn't true if you buy. That means leasing can be the smart move on cars like the Ioniq 6, which won't get the credit if you buy it outright. Just be sure to go over all the details related to the tax credit before signing any paperwork.
Keep in mind that if you choose to lease instead of buy, you won't have to worry about whether or not your personal tax situation allows you to take advantage of the credit.
Remember that the best deals also typically apply to individuals with excellent credit ratings. Moreover, the best manufacturer-sponsored incentives are often reserved for returning lessees or people who currently drive competitor products.

There are likely additional incentives out there, specific to certain regions or dealerships (if the brand has dealerships) You just have to take the time and do your homework. Some automakers are still offering deferred payments, even if it's not noted above or on their websites.
Also, keep in mind that used EVs are available with reasonable deals as well and that the market is finally seeing a notable drop in prices. There's even a new $4,000 point-of-sale federal incentive that your used EV may qualify for.
