The festive season is fully upon us, and with December arriving it will soon be time for kids across the capital to start pulling together their Christmas wishlists.
And, one of the most magical moments for them, will undoubtedly be when they are able to finally meet the big man himself and pass across their Christmas wishes for him to deliver on Christmas eve.
With Santa Claus and his elves appearing in Grottos across the city, there are plenty of options for those looking to get out and enjoy some festive family fun, and to help we've pulled together a list of some of the best.

LOVE Gorgie Farm, Gorgie Road
LOVE Gorgie, known previously as Gorgie City Farm, is found on Gorgie Road and is home to a petting zoo filled with adorable animals that visiting kids can meet and coorie up to, this festive season.
They will be offering a Santas Grotto each weekend (Fri until Sun) from December 2 until the weekend before Christmas, and a North Pole Post Office, where kids can come along and bring their own letter for Santa.
Conifox Adventure Park, Kirkliston
Only 20 minutes from the city centre, Conifox Adventure Park is offering plenty of festive fun this year. Just 20 minutes from the city centre at Kirkliston, children can meet the elves, Mrs Claus and enter Santa’s sitting room for a special welcome from the man himself. Every child will also receive a Golden Christmas Coin from Santa to exchange in the Toy Workshop for a gift for their choice.
Dobbies Garden Centre, Edinburgh
The Santas Grotto at Dobbies is always popular, with a snowy forest, elf guides and Santa’s toyshop. As well as fun festive activities, kids will meet Santa and receive a special gift.

Edinburgh’s Christmas Santa Grotto, Princes Street Gardens
Located within Santa Land, Santa and his helpful elves will be ready to welcome children and families for Santa's Stories sessions with each child given the opportunity to meet Santa and receive a gift.
Taking place every half hour, they can be booked from the Edinburgh Wintr Festival website.
Ocean Terminal, Leith
Santa is heading to Leith and will have a special festive cabin at Ocean Terminal, with tickets priced at just £5.50 and including a fun gift, the OT team say you can take as many photos or videos as you like.

Craigies Farm, Queensferry
With Santa having a very busy year, Mrs Claus and Splatz the Elf need the help of Edinburgh's kids to make a magical Christmas Bear for him.
All children will receive their choice of present to take away from Santa’s workshop, a chance for photos with Santa at the end and an hour and a half entry into the Little Farmers adventure play area.

The Gyle Shopping Centre
Running every weekend in the lead up to Christmas, you can pop along to the centre and Santa's grotto between 12 pm-5 pm to meet Santa.
