The Best Dressed Celebrities That Hit the Red Carpet at the 76th Annual Emmy Awards

Due to the writers' and actors' strikes, last year's Emmy Awards were delayed until January of this year. That led to a bit of confusion since, in order to get things back on schedule, the 76th Annual Emmy Awards airs tonight. That means we're treated to two great red carpets in under a year, though. While the January edition had plenty of amazing outfits, tonight's ceremony may have just topped it. Which makes the 76th Annual Emmy Awards best dressed list quite long.

There are lots of custom creations. The Bear's Ayo Edebiri stunned in a colorful Bottega Veneta patterned piece with a thigh-high slit. Ralph Lauren designed Selena Gomez's striking black gown with an embellished halter neckline that complemented her earrings nicely. Naomi Watts attended in an enviable green strapless dress courtesy of Balenciaga. Brie Larson's one-of-a-kind Chanel dress included a flashy bodice and a wide belt. Viola Davis delighted in a black and white custom halter dress by Zuhair Murad.

Both Christian Dior and Oscar de la Renta were well-represented on the red carpet. Elizabeth Debicki looked absolutely elegant in a black Dior dress highlighted by De Beers jewelry. Reese Witherspoon's strapless black and white Dior floral gown was accented by a diamond necklace. Jennifer Aniston absolutely sparkled in Oscar de la Renta and Tiffany & Co. jewels. Kristen Wiig also rocked the fashion house wearing an edgy, textured gown paired with Chopard gems.

Brand ambassadors were certainly easy to spot sporting the fashion houses they represent. Saoirse Ronan's black draped Louis Vuitton revealed just enough skin. While Greta Lee looked ethereal in a layered white Loewe number polished off by Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
