Celtic played in front of their home fans for the first time this season when English Championship side Blackburn Rovers rolled into town for a 2-2 draw.
Ange Postecoglou's side have picked up a knack for free-flowing attacking football under his year-long reign and that showed no signs of relenting after seven, three and four goal hauls respectively in their previous friendlies. Sam Gallagher's opener put them on the backfoot initially but Jota soon restored parity with a fine strike.
David Turnbull's free-kick before half-time was eye-catching but Celtic had a well-matched dance partner for this stage in the campaign, as Chile international Ben Brereton Diaz rifled a low deadball situation into the net. Next up for the Hoops is a trip to Poland for a testimonial-style match for cult hero Artuc Boruc against Legia Warsaw and Norwich City's visit to Parkhead next Saturday rounds off their pre-season preparations. Then the Premiership title defence starts against Aberdeen on July 31st.
