The best Black Friday PlayStation deals on Amazon so far

Shopping season is here again, and Amazon is kicking things off early with some hot Black Friday PlayStation deals, including a console bundle complete with Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2. You can grab Square Enix’s dark epic Final Fantasy 16 at a discount, dive into Cal Kestis’ latest Star Wars adventure, take a trip to medieval Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed, or get behind the wheel and go stupidly fast in Hawaii in Ubisoft’s most recent The Crew racing game.

There’s plenty to sink your teeth into, and we’ll be updating this roundup as more deals go live.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Slim bundle - $499

One of the biggest deals so far is a bundle featuring the new PS5 slim model – a slightly shorter, thinner variant of the original chonky console – complete with Spider-Man 2. It usually runs for at least $559.99, but Amazon’s knocked the price down to $499.99 for now. You don’t have to be a Prime member to take advantage of this deal, either.

The Last of Us Part 1 - $39.99

This is a pretty big discount for the slick remaster of Naughty Dog’s survival horror classic. If you enjoyed HBO’s adaptation and want to experience the source or just need to revisit an old favorite, you can do it for $39.99.

Final Fantasy 16 - $39.99

Square Enix’s big, dark take on the classic Final Fantasy formula is less than six months old, which makes this almost half-price discount a pretty impressive one. If you want to experience Final Fantasy XIV-producer Naoki Yoshida’s first mainline game – and one of the best Final Fantasy Cid appearances – you can get it for $39.99.

God of War: Ragnarok - $34.99

2022’s hit God of War sequel is going for $34.99 during Black Friday, and you can get the PS4 version for $29.99. The second outing for modern Kratos is bigger and mostly better than 2019’s God of War, with a more complex story and deeper emotional payoff as the father-son duo fight to prevent the end of the world – and of their relationship.

Gran Turismo 7 - $29.99

Gran Turismo 7 is discounted to the point where it’s almost a steal. Sony’s tribute to car culture normally goes for $69.99, but you can snatch it up at $29.99GT 7 lovingly recreates almost every aspect of race car driving, even down to the feel of tires on wet road, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - $34.97

Star Wars Jedi Survivor takes Cal Kestis on a bigger, more complex, and more rewarding journey across the galaxy, as his doomed fight against the Galactic Empire continues. He’s older, sadder, and wiser now, and Respawn leans further into Cal’s relationships with his fellow rebels in a surprisingly thoughtful narrative. You can see for yourself for $34.97.

Assassin's Creed Mirate - $39.99

Ubisoft’s “back to basics” Assassin’s Creed game is down to $39.99, just a few months after launching. The spinoff prequel-sequel-side-story follows Basim in medieval Baghdad at the height of the Caliphate’s splendor, and it swaps the recent RPG approach for a stealth experience instead.
